Let's face it. It's not every day you want a cold protein shake!
You've probably had a protein hot choclate before and been less than impressed. That's because many whey proteins still have that nasty protein aftertaste, or a poor, clumpy consistency! Not to worry though, not only is this Hot Protein Taro Latte super simple and delicious to make, it's completely clump free and actually tastes exactly as good as it sounds!
It's also the first of its kind in the world. This indulgent Protein Taro latte recipe was brought to you by @marieangelfit.
- 1 scoop Taro Milk Tea Protein powder by Far East Alchemy
- 250ml of milk
- Heat 250ml of your choice of milk in a mug for 2 minutes in a microwave
- In a separate shaker, shake up 100ml room temperature water with 1 scoop of taro milk tea until mixed (about 15-20 seconds)
- Pour your protein into the milk, stir to combine
Our favourite choice of milk here is unsweetened oat milk, as it brings out and elevates the nutty flavour of taro.
