High Protein Molly Jasmine Tea

White Bunny Jasmine Tea Mixing Tea GIF

I'm like 3 months behind posting about this, and admittedly the only reason I'm coming around to it now is because my favourite ITO EN JASMINE GREEN TEA HAS BEEN OUT OF STOCK AT MY LOCAL ASIAN GROCER AND I'M GOING INSANE BECAUSE NOTHING ELSE TASTES THE SAME!!!!!

(desperately need your jasmine tea recs NOWWWW pls)

Anyway, so randomly decided to mix my white bunny protein powder with some jasmine green tea to see how closely it resembled Molly Tea, and to my absolute pleasure and delight, it was VERY CLOSE.

🧋 Recipe:

Mix 200-250ml unsweetened jasmine green tea with 1 scoop of white bunny protein in a shaker. EVEN better if the tea is nice and cold!!

Make sure you find a jasmine green tea that is unsweetened, otherwise it will turn out way too sweet :) or you can mix in some more water to help dilute the strength.

If you don't already know, white bunny protein powder is flavoured based off of the white rabbit milk candy which is a sweet, condensed milk flavour that comes through creamy and smooth in the protein version. It's a candy I grew up eating and I'm really happy to be able to share a protein flavour inspired by it that can be used in smoothies, yoghurts, ninja creamis... the kitchen is your oyster!

You can customise the strength and flavour by adjusting the amount of liquid and ratio of water/milk! (More liquid means less strong, more milk means sweeter).

How is this different to a basic vanilla protein powder, you might ask?

Aside from the aussie grass-fed whey and added lactase enzymes, we use a condensed milk flavour to give it that richer, sweeter edge. But if you’ve already got regular vanilla protein sitting at home, I’m sure it’ll still taste delicious!

I’m all about using what you’ve got, so by all means, try it with what's in your pantry if you haven't grabbed our white bunny protein yet. But when you do buy from us, you’re directly supporting a small local business right here in Melbourne and helping us bring even more innovative flavours and Asian representation to the fitness scene!!

ANYWAY - here's to hoping I find another jasmine green tea that tastes just as good. I think I'm too lazy to brew my own, but maybe I'll need to give that a go at some point.

Let me know if you try it and what you recommend next!
